WH Virtual Simulation

Virtual warehouse flow simulation (often in the form of a digital twin) is an advanced method used to model, analyze, and optimize logistics processes in a warehouse without the need for physical intervention. By creating an accurate 3D representation of the warehouse, including racks, machines, people, and goods flows, managers can test different scenarios and identify bottlenecks.

There are many ways to model, but we use an effective model that is easy to operate and simulate changes. Most models, although they appear to be easy to manage, are not, and later become meaningless because there is no one, either from the supplier or the customer, who is able to record and change the simulation and workload according to real values. This is a fundamental difference between us and them: we are capable of doing this. It took us several years to understand what is most effective and efficient for simulating warehouse flow.

Key benefits of virtual warehouse simulation:
Layout and space optimization: Testing the arrangement of racks and storage zones can increase space utilization by 15%.
Increased productivity: Optimizing warehouse worker routes and material flow can increase labor productivity by up to 40%.
Reduced investment risks: Verifying new automation elements (AGVs, conveyors) in simulation before actually purchasing them.

Elimination of bottlenecks: Identification of areas where congestion occurs before it causes actual delays.
Risk management: Ability to simulate extreme loads (peaks) and ensure that the warehouse remains efficient even in crisis situations.

Optimization process: Creating a digital twin:Simulation and analysis: Running scenarios (e.g., "what happens if we change the storage strategy" or "increase the number of warehouse workers").

Optimization and testing: Finding the best configuration that reduces time and space losses.
Implementation: Introducing verified changes into real-world operations.
By leveraging technologies such as IoT and 3D visualization, virtual simulation provides a continuous overview of warehouse performance. Common tools include 3D simulation software that allows you to animate material flow and track key performance indicators (KPIs) in real time.
